Stephen Garner

 

In 1976 at the young age of fifteen Stephen Garner started out in the industry as an
apprentice letter cutter working for a major firm in Adelaide. After several years Stephen gained experience in the monumental industry working with several leading monumental masons
learning about the trade.

 

Then in 1982 Stephen started up Memorial Lettering Service, contracting to major firms in Adelaide and learning new skills in carving granite.

 

In 1998 Stephen and his wife Cathy decided to start the business ‘Garner Memorials’, where they promised to give the public/clients more value for money, selling direct to the public.

In 2020, they relocated into their new factory premises at Unit 1, 8 Christopher Court, Salisbury North. Garner Memorials currently has showrooms and offices in two locations which include on Main North Road in Salisbury and Adelaide Road in Gawler.
