ABOUT GARNER MEMORIALS
In 1976 at the young age of fifteen Stephen Garner started out in the industry as an
apprentice letter cutter working for a major firm in Adelaide. After several years Stephen gained experience in the monumental industry working with several leading monumental masons
learning about the trade.
Then in 1982 Stephen started up Memorial Lettering Service, contracting to major firms in Adelaide and learning new skills in carving granite.
In 1998 Stephen and his wife Cathy decided to move into a new premises and started the business ‘Garner Memorials’, where they promised to give the public/clients more value for money, selling direct to the public. Then in 2003 they relocated to their current factory premises which is
Unit 4, Lot 12 Angle Vale Crescent, Waterloo Corner, South Australia. Garner Memorials has currently expanded their showroom/offices to two locations which includes Salisbury and their newest location Adelaide Road in Gawler.
